Our Mission: Bethany UCC is a caring community in Christ where strangers become friends.

notes:  current activities/goals (ideas are welcome)   bethanyucclou@juno.com
(1) reach out to families with children
(2) increase our worshipping membership
(3) increase the visibility of Bethany UCC

We are a friendly, informal church that is always seeking creative new ways to reach out to the community around us.  We are already involved in our local community ministry, local health and human service organizations, and other mission venues. We have a beautiful 6 acre site that we make available to the neighborhood and other churches for recreation opportunities.   Our worship style is a "blended" style, with Wednesday nights being more informal than Sunday morning.  We offer Christian education opportunities for all ages and welcome the involvement of children and youth in the total life of the church.  We offer ourselves as a "teaching" church to local seminary students, who come and share in our ministry while studying at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary.  We have a health ministry which offers seminars and support groups.  Overall, we are committed to following God's call to ministry, wherever that may lead us!

If you are looking for a community where "everyone knows your name," where you will be loved and supported, where you can be involved and make a difference, then "welcome home" to Bethany!
