Our Mission: The purpose of this church is to maintain public services for the worship of God and for the teaching and preaching of the Gospel; to serve as a "Body of Christ" in this community by carrying on a fellowship, whereby His Spirit, teachings and commandments are manifested in everyday life.
We are a church with a history of putting Christ's message of love for the least and the lost into action. We were instrumental in founding the Slim Baker Area and Tapply Thompson Community Center and give the use of those properties to the people of Bristol and the Newfound region. We are active in supporting Bristol Area Senior Services, which has offices in our church, and Bristol Community Services. We encourage ecumenical work through our participation in Newfound Area Churches, and generously support missions beyond the local community through the United Church of Christ.
