Our Mission
The mission of our church is to equip the congregation to be witnesses to the kingdom of God and to live the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that we may reach out to friends and neighbors, to acquaintances and strangers of local, state, national, and world communities, showing them the love of God through our actions. To accomplish this, the church challenges and supports its members and friends to grow and mature in a Christ-like manner in their relationships with God and all people.

The Brownville Community Church, UCC is a small but active church that stresses involvement in and aid to our community.  We have a bi-vocational minister, who is a Licensed Social Worker for the State of Maine, and a great group of lay leaders who make great things happen throughout the year.  We are Spirit-filled and welcome all to join with us in worship and to actively participate in the life of our church.
