We are seeking to be faithful disciples, loving God and loving one another.
Located in the village of Cetronia, we are a small-community church (with about 70 in worship) surrounded by metropolitan growth. Cedar UCC is part of a union church. Since 1855 we have shared the building with a Lutheran congregation. We do some things together (hosting Boy and Girl Scout troops and NA & AA groups; and some things on our own (food bank collections, Habitat for Humanity, Souper Bowl, support of UCC institutions like Phoebe Home and Bethany Children's Home).
We welcome you as you are.
Our worship includes tears and laughter. Our people dress from jeans to suits. We have regular attenders who haven't joined,
and longtime members who seldom attend.

REDNER'S SAVE-A-TAPE
Stop by a Redner's Store Office or Customer Service Desk to get a Save-A-Tape card. When you check out, show your card before your order is rung. Then send or bring your entire cash register tape to church. Redners will not accept only the bottom portion, so please bring the whole register tape.
Cedar UCC will receive a 1% rebate on purchases. If you bring your tape to church, put it in the aluminum foil covered box on the yellow counter in the lobby at the back of the sanctuary.
MILE OF PENNIES
There are 84,480 pennies in a mile - which equals $844.80. We've been collecting pennies to help offset the deficit. We've done it! As of July 29, 2007 we made the mile - and then some. Thanks to everyone who dropped off coins (and lots of paper money too). Folks at worship indicated a desire to do another mile - so keep them coming! We've done it again! As of 11/9/08
we reached our second mile. Thanks to all who gave!! We are now
collecting for Holy Joe's Cafe, which supports chaplains, as they minister with
the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. More on this later.
