Our Mission: The Mission of Church of the Master is to worship the living God, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world, to further the cause of Christian Unity and promote Christian fellowship among all people; to be servants of God by rendering loving service in the name of the Master; and to strive, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for the time when all people will live together in peace and justice.
Church of the Master is a church with a positive perspective that believes God has good news for all people as revealed through Jesus Christ. It is a church that encourages people to think for themselves and develop an honest and open faith. It is a church which puts a high priority on Christian Education as a path which begins in childhood and continues throughout life.
It is a church which seeks, through the power of faith, action and fellowship, to be in service to the community and world.

Directions to Church of the Master
Church of the Master is located in northeast Hickory in a suburban area. From Highway 127 N., turn east on 29th Ave. NE. The road becomes 29th Ave. Dr. NE when it crosses 16th St. NE. The church is on the right approximately 2.5 miles from Highway 127. From Springs Road, turn north on 24th St. NE. The road makes a sharp left and becomes 29th Ave. Dr. NE. The church is on the left, about a half mile from Springs Road. From Interstate 40, take exit 126 north. When the road crosses Springs Road, it narrows to two-lane and becomes 24th St. 24th St. makes a sharp left and becomes 29th Ave. Dr. The church is a short distance on the left.
