Mission statement: Community Church of Chesterland celebrates the love of God and Jesus Christ by reaching out to all people to join us as we answer Jesus' call to "love one another as I have loved you".

Our Community Church of Chesterland consists of an open and affirming Christian congregation that practices social action, environmental responsibility and Just Peace. We are a liberal, open-minded, family oriented congregation that values diversity and education for all ages. We enjoy gathering together to explore topics that are intellectually stimulating. We worship in a church building that is architecturally distinctive with eclectic music that includes a bell choir, pipe organ, and on occasion sacred dance. In the summer we worship in an outdoor pavilion in a wooded setting. Our congregation is warm, caring and supportive of each other and our community. The Community Church of Chesterland is for those seeking spiritual nurturing and a sense of connectedness. Our hearts are open, our minds understand, and we live to serve God.
