Our Mission: "We aim to be a loving, caring family with Christ as our head, reaching out amongst ourselves and to the larger community to address spiritual beliefs, social needs and moral issues, guided by the teachings of Jesus."

We serve our members and friends through Sunday worship in our sanctuary and local cable television.  We also offer pastoral care and visitation in homes, hospitals and nursing facilities by our Minister, Parish Nurse and Lay Shepherds.  A Memorial Garden is available for use by our members. Our children participate in the first part of our worship then proceed to Sunday School, which uses a U.C.C.Seasons of the Spirit curriculum and administers Child Safety guidelines. We also serve the wider community through our Social Action Mission Committee. At least 10% of our budget allows S.A.M. to coordinate a variety of service programs, including but not limited to the collecting of food for a group home for boys and girls and individuals in need as well as holiday gifts for those without; preparing and serving of food at a local homeless shelter; coordinating with other area congregations the C.R.O.P. Walk of Church World Service; collecting for the Heifer Project and U.N.I.C.E.F.; and serving and making available Fair Trade coffee and other artifacts from Third World nations that benefit their economies. In addition, the church sponsors a Children's Center, a weekday half-day pre-school that meets from September through June and is located on our extensive premises.

We offer a warm welcome to any who are searching for a thoughtful, open and growing Christian church community in which to worship God, educate children, build long-lasting friendships, and serve both the congregation in Somerset and wider community of Faith.
