Our Mission: Denison Avenue United Church of Christ has a long and continuing mission of working and witnessing for Christ in the city. 
 
We are a diverse congregation settled in a busy urban neighborhood. People who come to our doors are invited to worship, and share in Christian education, community meals, Parish Nursing, and a teddy bear ministry. Members and friends are always busy searching for ways to be a positive presence in the community, opening our doors to Girl Scouts, basketball teams, community revitalization groups, and other community activities. Denison is an active member of the ecumenical Midwest Parish and the first church to commit to the developing Urban Cluster Ministry.
