First Congregational Church is proud to be an activist church.  We see ourselves as servants of Christ, we vigorously resist the temptation to isolate ourselves; instead we seek engagement with issues and with people outside of ourselves, especially with the last and the least of our community.  Ours is a downtown church that is committed to Riverside as a whole.  Through our involvement with Inland Congregations United for Change (ICUC), we are active in community organizing, seeking ways to make a difference in our city.  At First Congregational Church, faith is put into action.
