The purpose of this church is to worship God, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate the sacraments; to realize Christian fellowship and unity within this church and the church Universal; to render loving service toward humankind; and to strive for righteousness, justice and peace.

Founded in 1890, the First Congregational Church was among Great Fall's earliest churches. With a long history of community involvement, as well as a tradition of fine music and worship, we remain a vibrant congregation of five hundred adult members. We are an open and inviting community of faith with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. We have a strong emphasis on ministries to youth and children, as well as Christian service, including strong denominational leadership and support. We uniquely share our facility with Christ United Methodist Church, providing additional opportunities for mutual ministries and fellowship.

We provide a caring and nurturing church home to our membership, and invite you to explore and grow in the faith with us. You are most welcome.
