SHARING AND CELEBRATING CHRIST'S LOVE  

       We are the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Jamestown, NY. We have the distinction of being both the first congregation formed in Jamestown, and also the oldest church building in continuous use in Jamestown. Our present sanctuary was completed in 1869.

       We invite all to share and celebrate a life of faith, growing in truth and love in Jesus Christ. Serving the community since 1816, First Congregational seeks to share and celebrate Christ's love at home and abroad.

        During the past century, our Christian service has met the needs of a changing world and community. We have worked together giving witness to the steadfast hope and love of Jesus Christ. You are cordially invited to join in our witness, add your prayers, your presence, and share your gifts in faithfulness to our Lord.

        Sunday morning Worship is at  10:45 AM .  The sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated the lst Sunday of each month.

         Coffee Fellowship follows worship

          WEDNESDAY: Adult Bible Study -  1:30 PM (Seasonally)

          THURSDAY:  Adult Choir Rehearsal  7:30 PM

          Along with the weekly coffee fellowship following the service, our Christian Fellowship takes on several forms and involves both the congregation and the community at large: Christian Coffeehouse; Chicken & Biscuit Dinners; Youth Hot Dog Sales; Jane Greeley Society/Congregational Women; Radio Chapel on WJTN and Faith Break on WKSN.

          COME join us in our faith walk together as we  share our journey  and spread the love of God to others.

MUSIC

      Music has always been an important part of the worship experience, and there are several opportunities for participation for everyone, young and old. 

   Adult Choir; Spire Choir; Sharing of individual music and instrumental talents at various times throughout the year.
