Our Mission: First Congregational United Church of Christ is a singing, praying, serving, playing people of God who seek to:

• ensure our doors are open to all who desire spiritual nurture,
• sustain one another when burdened,
• extend charity to those in crisis,
• confront the causes of bigotry, malice, hatred & ill-will,
• grow in our wisdom through faith formation
• share the good news of God's love, as lived by Jesus, through our actions and our words.

Located in the magnificent beauty of Vilas County we offer inclusive worship, adult, children, and ecumenical music opportunities, lectionary-based Sunday School, God's Country Kitchen (a meal and program - Wednesdays at 5:00 during the school year.)

Faith formation programs include:  UCC Academy of the North, Nights of the Reading Round Table, and a variety of Bible study options.

Through the legacy of members we annually award 12 to 15 scholarships to college students.

First Church is home to Humpty Dumpty Pre-School, AA (Mon & Fri evenings), high school diploma equivalency (GED) services, exercise classes (three times a week) through Nicolet College, Thursday Bridge Club, and we are a food distribution location for SHARE.
