Our Mission:  The mission and vision of this church is to engage people of all ages for the purpose of sharing in the worship of God and inviting God into the lives of all people, individually and collectively, especially as it is revealed through the teachings, life, death and resurrection of Jesus, the Christ.

We at First Congregational United Church of Christ will achieve our vision by supporting today's youth through Christian Education programs, love, guidance, and our example; preserving our strong sense of pride and tradition in our Christian heritage and passing it on to future generations; providing educational opportunities in a friendly environment based on trust and faithful service, for the purpose of deepening our Christian faith and broadening our mind to the endless possibilities presented by life and our understanding of our future; gathering in fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with all people for the purpose of worshipping Jesus Christ, God's Son and our Savior, and to be invited to share in Baptism and the Lord's Supper; fostering an atmosphere of accpetance and tolerance that both embraces freedom of expression and nurtures trust and commitment in God and each other by living a life like Jesus lived.
