Jesus commanded us to "love thy God with all thy heart, soul, and mind" and to "love thy neighbor as thyself."  The hearts, souls, and minds of First Church have diverse religious backgrounds, family settings, and vocations.  We each bring a unique story to Christ's church that helps everyone to gain a better understanding of God's love and the teachings of Jesus Christ, and their continued relevance in our world.  What we learn from one another is then revealed in the love we have for our community and the world.
