Our Mission:  First Church seeks to welcome and minister to all in Christ's name, while teaching and leading them to mission in God's kingdom.

First Church, Congregational, founded in 1810, is the oldest congregation in Lake County, Ohio. It has a history of vital ministry to both its membership and the wider community. We honor the traditions which make us strong, while continually seeking new forms of ministry and mission which speak to contemporary people and situations. We are large enough to provide a critical mass for various forms of ministry, but small enough to know one another.
