Our Mission: The people of Friedens (Peace) United Church of Christ continually seek to love God, our neighbors, and ourselves and to baptize all nations, as Christ commands.

Friedens (Peace) United Church of Christ is a small, growing, and active rural church within comfortable driving distance of Lincoln, Nebraska's capitol city. At the heart of the congregation's life are worship and prayer. Food is abundant almost anytime we're gathered, because we believe that God nurtures our souls while the food nourishes our bodies. In addition to Sunday school for children, the church's programming includes an active youth group for middle and senior high school-aged youth, fun choirs for children and youth/adults, thematic or seasonal Bible studies for youth/adults, a very active women's group, and numerous get-togethers throughout the year. Opportunities for participation are abundant, including in worship, where drama, music, and various art forms work together to create a meaningful celebration of God.
You are cordially invited to worship in a church that will remind you of a nostalgic country church. Visitors are strangers for only a few moments here; the congregation is very friendly.
