Our Mission: Our mission is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ through transfoming ministry to and with our community and world. We see as part of our visioning being and becoming a multiracial and multi economical faith community. Our purpose is to provide dynamic worship, spiritual discipleship, and inclusive community. We have about anywhere from 45-70 members and participants who attend church on Sunday. Our present body is composed of African-Americans, Caucasion, and Carribean people (the percentage from the greastest to lowest is in the order typed).

The church is located in Rogers Park which is an ethnically diverse community. We live in the North of Howard section which is the poorer community presently going through gentrification. Our church houses God News Community Kitchen and Howard Area Community Center Alternative School. So in order to get to the sanctuary you literally have to walk through the kitchen keeping you ever aware that there are existential needs in our community.

We are located a 1/2 block from the last stop north on the Red Line but we are not the last stop for hope.

Come, here and receive good news. No matter who you are or wher you are on life's journey there is  place for you here.

We invite you to join us on our journey, to be blessed
and to be a blessing to us.
