Mayflower opens it's hearts, arms and building to a wide variety of community ministries including AA & NA, Girl Scouts; Teen Theatre (promoting awareness of social issues involving prevention and consequences of sex & drug use), TOPS; Emergency Shelter for neighboring Smith School; Westside Ministerial Association's Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve service; Sweethearts Dance Squad (ages 5 & up) and Calico Kids Preschool (one of the few in the area for Special Needs children).  We have a rich history featuring traditional music from a pipe organ that is nearly 150 years old and baptisms are conducted with a chalice and font donated by the women of the Hartford, Ct Congregational Church in 1897. 
We are a caring congregation whose members include those who were not welcomed elsewhere.
