Our Mission: The Mission statement of Pilgrim Congregational UCC is to worship God, share the gospel of Jesus Christ and affirm God's love for us by loving one another.
We provide opportunities for education, fellowship, communal worship, community service, spiritual growth and promote peace and justice.
Special Interest Groups:
- Green Team (sustainable, eco- & earth-friendly focus for our church)
- Marketplace Group (Women's craft group, meets Thursday mornings)
- Evangelism & Mission Committee (fun and creative efforts to share the spirit of our church with the wider community and to support those in need; also leads a variety of fundraising activities.)
- Women's Fellowship (organizes luncheons, fundraising efforts to support the mission and ministry of the church.)
- Priscilla Circle (Fellowship and spiritual growth group)
Christian Education: Though we are primarily an older congregation, our children and youth are well-loved and welcomed. They know this is their church, too! Children and families participate in Wednesday Bible School and Confirmation, Children's Choir, and Christmas Pageants. In worship, they serve as acolytes and lay readers when they are able. We provide a warm family atmosphere and welcome visitors and other seekers to join us in these endeavors.
Children's Bible School & Choir (pre-K through Grade 6): Wednesday (Sept.-May), 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Confirmation (Grades 7-9): Wednesday (Sept.-May), 3:30-4:30 p.m.
