Our Mission: The avowed purpose of this church shall be to worship God, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to celebrate the sacraments; To realize Christian fellowship and unity within this church and the Church universal; To render loving service toward all people, and to strive for righteousness, justice and peace.

The motto of Salem UCC is "May Our Love Show We Care". This congregation takes those words to heart, as we show love and care for one another in all stages of life: during moments of joy such as births and baptisms; celebrating the milestones of graduation or confirmation; sharing the blessings of family life in weddings and anniversaries; as well as sharing in the times of trial, as we offer the presence of Christ in a hospital room or a living room. Surrounded by nearly 15 acres of woodland that includes a shelter house and worship amphitheater, our congregation enjoys great fellowship, takes pleasure in God's Creation, and strives to be the family of Christ God intends us to be.
