Our Mission
It shall be the purpose of St. John Church to maintain a Christian congregation for worship, to promote the Christian life, and advance the Kingdom of God by all available means, both at home and abroad.

St. John Church of Hebron, ND has served as a center of community, life, and culture and will celebrate its 125 year anniversary in 2010.  German settlers, many of whom lived in sod houses, built their beautiful brick church of dazzling dimensions with breathtaking stained glass windows.  To this day the church is in choice condition.  Through the hard work of the historical committee St. John Church was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2001.    The congregation set aside and built a permanent place for the memorabilia of its history, it is called the Debus Museum, honoring its first called permanent Pastor, the Rev. August Debus.

The sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are celebrated in open invitation.
