Mission Statement: The avowed purpose of this Church shall be to worship God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper, to promote Christian love and unity within this Church and the Church Universal, to render loving service toward people and to strive for righteousness, justice and peace in our community and throughout the world.
Church Mice Group: Meets at Russ' Restaurant for breakfast every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. From there will go to the church to work on projects.
Book Of James Bible Study: Bible study on the Book of James continues Thursday, Sept. 15 at 10:00 a.m.
Hearing Loop: The hearing loop installation in the sanctuary is now complete. To access the system, set hearing aid to "T" (telephone) or to the "hearing loop" setting.
Special Music: Chancel Choir singing "As Long As I Have Breath"
Choir : Wednesday, Sept. 15, Bell Choir at 6:30 p.m. and the Chancel Choir at 7:30 p.m.
Building & Grounds: Will meet Sunday, September 11 at 9:15 a.m.
Council Meeting: The Church Council will meet Monday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Potluck: A September potluck is being planned for Sept. 15. After the meal bingo will be played.
Congregational Meeting: A Congregational Meeting has been called for Sunday, Sept. 18 immediately following worship. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the 2012 Proposed Budget and other matters. Copies of the budget will be available on the table in the Fellowship Hall.
Women's Fellowship: Women's Fellowship will hold the Fall Business Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 11:45 a.m. All women of the church are welcome to attend. Please bring a sack lunch as only dessert will be provided. The meeting will be held after lunch.
Faith Circle: A meeting of Faith Circle will be held Wed. Sept. 28 at 10 a.m in the Fellowship Hall. Bev Velik will giving a presentation on Christian Haven and the opportunities available there. All women of the church or invited to attend.
Special Services and/or Events: We hold special services and events throughout the year. Please feel free to contact the church office during our posted hours for more information.
