Our Mission
The love of Christ compels us to be a compassionate community and to nurture spiritual growth in young and old through worship, prayer, communion, mission, education, and fellowship.

Though we have had a presence, as a congregation, in downtown Wausau for over 141 years, we are committed to a vital ministry in our own generation. We offer a worship service on Sunday mornings that includes inspirational scripture based preaching and quality music in a variety of styles. We offer church school and Bible study for all ages and we continue to expand our involvement in local, national, and international mission. We encourage and support both members, and those who may come to us as seekers, as they attempt to discover their spiritual gifts and put them to use. We affirm that God is still speaking, and that our God will continue to open new doors of ministry for us.
