The late Gracie Allen was a great theologian. She noted that though God has given us a lot of instruction, more continues to be revealed. Therefore, we should "Never place a period where God has placed a comma." She knew, as do we, that God is still speaking.
Our Mission: Zion United Church of Christ, is an Open and Affirming, Multiracial, Multicultural, Just Peace, Jubilee congregation. We are called to glorify God, celebrate the teachings of Jesus Christ, nurture each other, and promote healing and wholeness in our world.
Zion UCC is a diverse, loving community that gathers for worship, study, nurture, support, and fun. We also reach out to the community by housing in our facility our partner in ministry, Community of Welcoming Congregations. We are a witness in East Multnomah County for openness and social justice action.
